11th Street Closure: The Village Detour Info
11th Street between US-31/Division and Elmwood Ave is currently closed for construction.
For the most direct access to The Village at Grand Traverse Commons and Historic Barns Park, visitors coming from the south side of town should turn left onto West Silver Lake Road and then right onto Silver Drive.​
From the north, take US-31/Division Street southbound and turn right onto 7th Street and then left onto Elmwood Ave to West 11th Street.
YOGANICS, the Yoga for Health Education Store
A little History
​
​
For many years, Yoga for Health operated a green store of organic clothing, called Green Canopy. After a number of years the room was needed for an additional classroom.
Today
The store at Yoga for Health today still carries wonderful yoga mats, environmentally sound, along with props and supplies you need for your practice.
Due to many requests, we continue to carry favorite organic, sustainable clothing.
​
Likewise, you will find special books that go with the courses at YHE and books for beginners and intermediate students for self-study and wellness.
​
Board Certified Ayurvedic Counselor and Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist, Libby Robold, carries an array of Ayurvedic and other health items to support healthy living and balance.
​
Lastly, there are other surprises you might not expect, like Zellie's Xylitol Gum, Ayurvedic skin care products, or tapestries for special places. There is a lot in our unique, small but powerful space!
